West High should institute a JROTC program under any of the branches, with the Army being prefered due to the school's proximity to Fort Leonard Wood
Because the classes for the 2017-2018 school year have already been picked the proposed start date would be the beginning of the 2018 to 2019 school year. Preparations would need to begin for the program over the next school year.
